The Process
The Lantern, no obligation, Initial Consultation is the first step to your student’s path to a successful application process. We discuss your needs, expectations and priorities; we explain what we do and how we can help; and decide if our expertise meets your needs. If it’s a great fit, we start building your strategic game plan immediately.
Your students’ route to a college career is a multi-year process, typically beginning during their freshman year. During this time, Lantern will be there to advise you every step of the way by
- Advising you on course curricula and extracurricular activities
- Creating a timeline for the SAT, ACT, and SAT Subject Tests
- Identifying extra programs and activities to help strengthen your profile
But we do not stop there. We share proven tools, like self-assessments and personality profiles, to help your student understand themselves better. Our software keeps them informed on what colleges expect and which colleges are the best fit. Our checklists help identify target colleges, and ensure your student stays on track. We guide and coach you through the process.
